Agartala: August 31. The ruling BJP today alleged that the CPIM is trying to create an atmosphere of unrest in the poll-bound assemblies in the name of election campaign.

“CPIM is trying to create an atmosphere of unrest in Dhanpur and Boxanagar centers in the name of election campaign and street corners. They are inciting communal violence through their street corners, which is a sign of danger. Therefore, the Election Commission has to do its duty to avoid the incident”, said BJP Spokesperson Nabendu Bhattacharya today at a press conference in BJP state party office.

He said the party which does not believe in any religion is recklessly giving messages of incitement to the minorities.

“In 25 years, the Left did not do any developmental work in Boxanagar and Dhanpur assembly, but they are leading people astray under the cover of election campaign, but it will not be of any use. Recently common people have left various parties and joined BJP party. It clearly shows that common people have realized that their development is not possible without BJP”, he said.

He said that the CPIM has realized that their defeat in the by-elections is certain, so they are trying to mislead the people.

Nabendu Bhattacharya claimed that an incident can happen at any time. He appealed to the Election Commission to take necessary steps to avoid future incidents.
