Agartala, 25th March 2026: The enthusiasm of the public in the nomination rally of BJP candidates signals a massive victory for the party in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) election.
This was informed by Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath today after leading the nomination filing rally for BJP candidate Ranbir Debbarma from Budhjangnagar-Wakhinagar constituency and Indrajit Debbarma from Simna Tamakari constituency in Mohanpur.
He said that in these 7.5 years of BJP rule, the state, including TTAADC areas and non-ADC areas, has witnessed massive development, both economically and socially.
“The government has also worked for infrastructure development. In the hilly areas, we have also worked for development. We want votes from people on the basis of development, and if we don’t do development, then we don’t need votes. Those who were in the government, including CPIM, cannot match the work BJP has done in such a short time. In Bodhjungnagar-Wakhinagar constituency, our candidate is Ranbir Debbarma, and in Simna Tamakari constituency, our candidate is Indrajit Debbarma, and keeping them in front, we have worked,” said the minister.
The minister further said that across the state, BJP candidates have filed their nominations.
“We believe that BJP will win the election and receive a good margin. We don’t want unrest. Our party and PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP national president Nitin Nabin are expecting good results in ADC areas. In ADC areas, there is enthusiasm in favor of BJP. We don’t want forceful votes. The way people have participated in our nomination rally signals our victory. Our main enemy is CPIM, and if they get a single seat, this will not be good for the state. They have suppressed the janajati people and never worked for the ADC areas. Our government wants to work more in these district council areas, along with the normal areas, to give Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,” he said.
