Agartala, 10th May 2026: A wave of shock and fear has gripped Barpathari Market in Belonia subdivision after a daring burglary late last night. Reportedly, a gang of thieves broke into multiple shops under the cover of darkness, triggering widespread alarm among traders.
Police sources said the burglars targeted seven shops in total, including three medicine stores, a tiffin shop, and several other establishments. Locks were smashed, and cash along with various goods were stolen before the culprits fled.
