Agartala, 6th Oct 22: In a heart rending incident, one and half month’s old infant died at Belonia hospital on Thursday morning.Serious allegations of wrong treatment and negligence in duty have been raised against the doctors and healf care workers by the family members of the deceased infant.
According to the details, Champa Das, daughter of Shibu Das of North Sonaichari, was suffering from physical problems since yesterday. The one and half month old infant was brought to Belonia hospital on Wednesday evening for treatment as she was unable to eat anything and was vomiting.
However, the baby girl Champa died within five minutes after the nurses on duty put the nebulizer machine on the infant’s nose. The parents and family members of the infant busted out in anger raising allegations of wrong treatment against the doctor on-duty and health workers.A situation of resentment and sorrow spread in the hospital premises centering the incident of death of a one and half months old infant.
