Agartala, 6th Oct 22 : Ahead of the Assembly Election Tripura witnessed a new twist in politics as yesterday various political leaders including from CPIM, BJP and from Congress met Royal Scion and Chairman of TIPRA Motha Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma.

Various top political leaders including former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb who at present is a Member of Parliament and BJP central in-charge of Haryana, former Minister and Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman, and former MP and CPIM state secretary Jitendra Chowdhury found meeting TIPRA Motha Supremo Pradyot Kishore Debbarma at his palace.

However, Pradyot has clearly said that the meeting with the leaders are  apolitical and was just meant for exchanges of greetings of Bijoya Dasami.

However, political watchers are claiming that the meeting will certainly have create an impact on state politics as as all parties are trying to pull the TIPRA Motha on their side for the upcoming assembly election which is scheduled to take place in next six months.

It is believed that TIPRA Motha, which had captured the TTAADC a little more than a year ago and is considered a blow to the ruling BJP-IPFT alliance, is surely going to be the kingmaker in Tripura this time.

On Facebook Pradyot said, “I thank all dignitaries across political lines who came and visit the palace on the auspicious occasion of Vijay Dashmi . Personal relationship and courtesy should always be maintained . Also  I would like to thank Smt Pratima Bhowmik who visited my place but there is no photograph taken to wish us on this auspicious day,.
