Unemployment Crisis: Tribal youths met Dy CM, demanded immediate recruitment to Backlog posts

Agartala , 6th October 22 : Demanding immediate recruitment to the Backlog posts since the year 2017, tribal qualified youths met Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varman on Thursday at his official residence.

The youths warned to stage larger protests in near days if their demands are not met at the earliest.

Talking to the reporters, job aspirant ST youths said, “From 2017 to current year, many teachers posts were created but all were not filled. Many ST posts for teacher recruitment are lying vacant”.

The youths alleged the government is not taking any step to recruit the unemployed youths into those vacant posts adding that previously too Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Tribal Welfare Department made promises of recruitment nothing has been done so far.The tribal job aspirants demanded immediate appointment to the backlog posts.
