It is the 44th substation in the state. 8 more new sub stations will be inaugurated on December 08 next. The Union Power Minister will inaugurate the Gandacherra to Ambasa transmission line which is historic for the state because the previous government could not do this in 13 years. Allocated funds for this work has been returned repeatedly.

The BJP government completed the Ambasa-Gandachhara power transmission line extension in just four years while, COVID pandemic hit for two years. In the meantime, the officers have done a great job digging the mountains of Gandacherra and expanding the line, he added. Deputy CM also said that the complaints are raised from time to time about electricity service and published or broadcast in different media. But this problem will no longer exist because the machinery of rickety-old period is being changed. All necessary measures are being taken to provide uninterrupted electricity service to the people.
