Agartala, 14th December 2025: A massive fire broke out early this morning, destroying a smoke house in the Parasuram Bari area under Champahaor police station. The blaze reduced rubber sheets worth nearly Rs 9 lakh to ashes.
Local sources informed that the fire erupted suddenly around 7 am and spread rapidly, engulfing the entire structure within minutes. Firefighters and police rushed to the spot upon receiving the alert and managed to bring the flames under control.
While the incident caused significant financial losses, no casualties or injuries were reported. Authorities from the fire service and police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the blaze.
