DGP inspects security arrangements for President’s visit

Agartala: October 10. Director General of Tripura Police Amitabh Ranjan has visited various spot to inspect the security arrangements for the visit of President Droupadi Murmu on October 12. President Droupadi Murmu is coming on a two-day state visit on October 12. She will participate in several programs in the state and will also offer puja at Tripura Sundari Temple.

 At the same time, a civic reception will be given at the Agartala Town Hall. The President will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate several projects through virtually at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhaban. Two new trains are scheduled to be flagged off at Badharghat railway station. Later she will inaugurate the Judicial Academy at Narsingarh TIT. On October 13 President Murmu will leave the state. This is his first visit after assuming office as President.

 Earlier, she had come to the state to campaign for the presidential election. Activities have already started at the administrative level centered on the President’s visit. Special vigilance is being kept in every venue from the police Administration. Security measures are in place. State Police Director General Amitabh Ranjan visited Rabindra Bhaban in today. After the inspection, the Director General of State Police said that this arrangement has been taken to complete the President’s visit in a peaceful way. It is also being seen that the movement of VIPs is done properly.
