Dhalai administration holds surprise visits at fuel and LPG agencies

Agartala, 6th April 2026:   In a bid to ensure uninterrupted supply of essential commodities and curb black marketing, the Dhalai district administration carried out surprise inspections at petrol pumps and LPG agencies in Ambassa subdivision on Monday.

District Magistrate and Collector of Dhalai led the operation, accompanied by Ambassa Sub-Divisional Magistrate Rinku Reang and DCM Dhananjay Chakma. The inspection team checked fuel stations and gas agencies to verify that LPG cylinders and petroleum products were being distributed fairly and in proper quantities to consumers.

Following the inspection, the District Magistrate stated that such sudden visits will continue in the coming days to minimize public inconvenience and maintain strict control over supply chains. He further warned that any irregularities detected would invite stern legal action.
