Agartala, 20th March 2026: In a significant step towards modernising rural banking services, Tripura Gramin Bank on Friday inaugurated its newly renovated Dharmanagar Branch, reaffirming its commitment to customer-centric and technology-driven banking.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by District Magistrate and Collector of North Tripura, Chandni Chandran, as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by the bank’s Chairman Satyendra Singh, Regional Manager (North) Sunandini Dutta, Lead District Manager Prasun Kanti Das, and Senior Branch Manager Suprakash Bir.
The renovated branch now features a modern infrastructure equipped with improved technological facilities aimed at enhancing efficiency and delivering a superior banking experience to customers. The initiative is part of the bank’s broader strategy to upgrade its services and expand its outreach across the state.
The programme witnessed the presence of retired staff members and long-standing customers, whose participation added a sense of continuity and trust to the occasion.
Speaking on the development, bank officials highlighted that under the leadership of Chairman Satyendra Singh, Tripura Gramin Bank is steadily evolving into a progressive and future-ready institution.
