Dharmanagar Press Club holds mega health camp

Agartala, 9th October 2026 :   The Dharmanagar Press Club, in collaboration with the Dharmanagar branch of the Hepatitis Foundation of Tripura, organised a mega health camp on Friday to provide healthcare services to the general public.

The camp was held at Vivekananda Sardhashatabarshiki Bhavan in Dharmanagar, commencing at 11 am. The initiative aimed to facilitate access to healthcare through various medical check-ups and consultations with experienced doctors.

People attending the camp were provided with opportunities to undergo health examinations and seek medical advice regarding their health concerns.

Dharmanagar MLA Jahar Chakraborty and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Debjani Chowdhury were among the dignitaries present at the programme. The president and members of the Dharmanagar Press Club also attended the event.

The initiative highlighted the press club’s efforts to contribute to public welfare beyond its regular journalistic activities, with a focus on promoting healthcare awareness and making medical services more accessible to people in the area.
