Agartala, April 06, 2023: Animal Resource Development minister Sudhangshu Das on Thursday visited College of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry at RK Nagar.
During the visit, the minister Das spoke to the faculty and students. Various problems including the infrastructure of the college came up in the interaction and the problem of drinking water and infrastructure development needs of students are noticed.
Das said that digital classrooms have been demanded and he assured that it will be launched in the coming days while other issues will also be resolved. In order to deliver appropriate measures to the farmers of the state, work will be done to increase the number of disease-free animals. Besides, the minister also said that this college has good management. A lot of development will take place in the coming days.
While speaking to reporters here, the ARD minister Das said that there is some shortage in the state according to the demand of fish, meat, eggs and milk. Work has started with a three-month plan to achieve the target. The unemployed will be encouraged to join these activities.
In the speech of the minister on this day, it is clear that not only decision will be taken sitting in Agartala, but there will also be field visits. However, the college authorities are seeking a quick solution to all the problems that the minister witnessed because of these problems, the experts believe that there is a possibility of a setback in the infrastructural development.
During the visit, the minister was accompanied by secretary BS Mishra, officials and others.
