Agartala, 31st March 2024 :  In the midst of a natural calamity striking the region, BJP candidate of 7 Ramnagar Assembly Constituency Dipak Majumdar plunged into the heart of the election campaign for the Ramnagar assembly constituency by-election.

Despite the Sunday morning calamity, which brought hardship to many residents, Majumdar remained undeterred as he vigorously canvassed for support, particularly targeting areas where the BJP had garnered fewer votes in previous elections. Venturing door-to-door, the candidate fervently sought blessings from residents while also emphasizing the achievements of the current state government.

In an interview, Majumdar expressed his intention to reach out not only to BJP supporters but also to those aligned with other political parties, including CPIM and Congress. “We are not only seeking support from BJP but also from CPIM and Congress supporters. I believe they will support us and requesting them to support me as I want to work for them,” stated Majumdar, underlining his commitment to representing all constituents, regardless of political affiliation.
