Agartala, 11th May 2024 : Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha expressed his gratitude to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for sending fuel to Tripura via train.
Speaking with reporters, Dr. Saha said that the double-engine government always works to solve problems.
“Today, I received a call from the Secretary of the Union Railway Minister informing me about an update on the letter I had sent regarding the fuel crisis. The Minister has directed the Secretary to inform me that a fuel-carrying train is en route to Tripura. This is indeed a relief. We are happy. I want to thank the Union Railway Minister. The double-engine government always works to solve problems,” he said.
On X, Dr Saha further wrote, “First POL rake crossed the landslide-affected site between Jatinga-Haranga after April 26th and is expected to reach Tripura late night,today. Heartfelt thanks to Union Railway Minister Shri @AshwiniVaishnaw ji for swiftly addressing the issue. Big appreciation to the NFR officials and workers for tirelessly restoring operations and to the people of Tripura for their cooperation. This rake will undoubtedly alleviate the fuel crisis in the state”.
