Draft Polling Station List for Village Committee Elections Released

Agartala, 12th May 2026:   The draft list of polling stations for the upcoming Village Committee General Elections was released yesterday. According to the announcement made by the State Election Department, a total of 1,540 polling stations have been set up across 52 blocks in the state for the elections.

Among all blocks, Monu Block has the highest number of polling stations with 87 centres. Jampuijala Block has 81 polling stations. On the other hand, Rajnagar and Bharat Chandra Nagar blocks have only 2 polling stations each. Kalachhara Block has 3 polling stations.

The information was officially released by the Tripura State Election Department, which is overseeing the preparations for the Village Committee elections.

Further updates regarding final polling arrangements are expected to be announced after the review of the draft list.
