Agartala, 19th April 2025: Udaipur witnessed a shocking incident this afternoon when the editor of Duranta TV Ayub Sarkar was allegedly attacked by a miscreant named Arjun Mondal.
Sarkar was at his other business establishment when Mondal, reportedly intoxicated assaulted him with a steel pipe without any provocation.
The attack left Sarkar seriously injured. He was immediately shifted to Udaipur sub-divisional hospital for initial treatment and later to referred to GB Hospital for better treatment.
The incident has sparked widespread outrage and strong reactions within the journalist fraternity. Authorities are investigating the matter.
