Agartala, 21st February 2024: A lineman of the Kadamtala Power Department suffered serious injuries after getting an electric shock while working on the power line near Churaibari Higher Secondary School in North Tripura district on Wednesday. The incident took place around 4 pm and the victim was identified as Tarun Debbarma (55), a resident of Gandacherra area.
Eyewitnesses alerted the Premtala fire brigade office, which rushed to the spot and took Debbarma to the Kadamtala Community Health Centre. The doctor there referred him to the Dharmanagar District Hospital for further treatment. The condition of the injured lineman is not known yet.
