Agartala, 18th April 2025: A tragic incident took place at Kamalghat today leaving the locality in mourning. Prasenjit Das (45), a resident of Sekerkote lost his life due to electrocution while performing electrical work.
It is reported that, Das was working at the residence of Apu Biswas when he accidentally came into contact with a live wire. The shock proved fatal, and he succumbed to the injuries on the spot. His colleagues and the homeowner promptly rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The authorities confirmed that Das’ body will be handed over to his family following the completion of the autopsy.
