Evergreen social organization donates Rs 50,000 towards Kamaleshwari Kalibari Temple construction

Agartala, 13th September 2025:   In a generous gesture of community support, the Evergreen Social Organization today contributed Rs 50,000 to aid the construction of the Kamaleshwari Kalibari Temple. The donation was formally handed over to the Temple Development Committee in a brief ceremony attended by key members from both organizations.

Known for its annual prize-money football tournament and consistent contributions to social causes, Evergreen Social Organization concluded this year’s tournament with great fanfare last week. Following the event, the committee announced that Rs 50,000 had been saved from the tournament proceeds and unanimously decided to allocate the amount to the temple project.

President Pintu Sharma, Treasurer Rajen Tiwari, along with members Malay Chakraborty and Rakib Roy, presented the donation to the Temple Development Committee. Receiving the contribution were Development Committee Treasurer Krishna Barman, members Nikhil Chandra Deb and Jogendra Paul, among others.

The donation marks another milestone in Evergreen Social Organization’s ongoing commitment to cultural and spiritual development in the region.
