TIPRA Motha Party demands compensation for families of deceased youths at Bishramganj Police Station

Agartala, 24th December 2024:  The TIPRA Motha Party along with villagers submitted a memorandum to Bishramganj Police Station, demanding compensation for the families of three youths who died in a tragic accident.

The incident took place on the night of December 21, when a speeding car hit a Pulsar bike in the Dewan Bazar area of Bishramganj. The three youths were Boyar Debbarma, Manoj Debbarma, and Salka Debbarma, all from Rangmala ADC Village were returning home after the Tring festival when the accident happened. The killer vehicle fled the scene in the dense fog.

The deputation led by Charilam TIPRA Motha Block President Buddha Debbarma called for financial assistance to be provided to the families of the deceased youths. “We demand justice and compensation for the families who have lost their loved ones in this tragic accident,” said Buddha Debbarma. The TIPRA Motha Party has warned that they will launch a protest if the killer vehicle is not seized.

The incident has left the community in shock and mourning, and the TIPRA Motha Party’s deputation highlights the urgent need for support and justice for the affected families. The police have assured that they are investigating the matter and will take necessary actions to apprehend the responsible vehicle.
