Ex-MoS Pratima visits home of deceased MBBS student

Agartala, 13th December 2025:  A tragic road accident on the Delhi-Lucknow Expressway claimed the life of Saptarshi Das, a distinguished MBBS student and resident of Ramnagar No. 1 Road, Agartala. The incident occurred a few days ago, leaving the state mourning the untimely loss of one of its brightest young talents.

Today, former union minister of state Pratima Bhoumik visited the bereaved family at their residence in Agartala to offer condolences. She expressed deep sympathy to the grieving parents, praying for eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for the family to endure the irreparable loss.

Speaking to the family, Bhoumik described Saptarshi Das as a brilliant and virtuous student, whose sudden demise has cast a shadow of sorrow over local educators, classmates, and the wider community.
