Ex-MP Rebati Tripura’s brother Dhananhat Tripura joins Tipra Motha

Agartala, 21^st March 2026:  A notable political development has stirred Tripura’s political circles following the defection of Dhananjay Tripura, brother of former Member of Parliament Rebati Tripura. Dhananjay formally joined the Tipra Motha party.

Reportedly, the joining took place at a public event in Gandacherra, where Dhananjay Tripura accepted the party flag from Rajesh Tripura, Executive Member of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC).
