Ex-Pradhan and Upa-Pradhan of CPIM join BJP at Gournagar in Khowai

Agartala, November 26, 2022: As the assembly elections in the state in 2023 are approaching, the programs of the political parties are going on continuously. From the mountains to the plains, various programs of the state ruling and opposition parties are going on in full swing starting from marches, meetings, processions, etc.

In this regard, the ruling BJP has always been in the forefront. BJP will hold a rally followed by door-to-door in Khowai district tomorrow along with the entire state. A rally was held at Gournagar Bazar of Ramchandraghat assembly constituency at 3 pm on Saturday. 16 voters of five families joined the BJP party, including the former Pradhan and Upa-Pradhan of the CPIM party in the joining meeting organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Ramchandra Ghat Mandal.  BJP Khowai district general secretary Samir Kumar Das and Ramchandraghat Mandal President Sanjib Debbarma welcomed them into the party by handing over their party flag. Besides, BJP district committee Vice-President Binita Singh, Secretary Madhav Chakraborty, Ramchandraghat Mandal General Secretary Manoj Deb and Animesh Nag were present in this meeting.

Addressing this meeting at Konnagar Bazar, district secretary SK Das said that those leaving the opposition camp are joining the BJP party after seeing the development activities of the state and central governments. He called everyone to re-establish the party.In today’s meeting, 16 voters from five families including former CPIM Pradhan, Upa-Pradhan Dhavani Munda, Ramu Munda, Sushil Munda, Lakshmi Datta and Chandramani Dutta of Gournagar Gram Sabha under Khowai RD Block joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.
