Agartala, November 26, 2022. A joint delegation of Tripura Government Employees Federation and Vivekananda Vichar Manch on Friday afternoon at 3 PM met with Joint Labour Commissioner Animesh Barman and submitted memorandum.
The joint delegation was attended by General Secretary of Tripura Government Employees Federation and Vice Chairman of Tripura Road Transport Corporation Samar Roy and Chairman of High Power Committee of Tripura Government Employees Federation Swarnendu Banik and Acting General Secretary Subhash Sutradhar and Treasurer Mrinal Chakraborty, Tripura Employees Action Committee President Biswajit Deb, Vivekananda Vichar Manch state Secretary Tapan Das and Manch state monitoring cell member Debashish Roy along with Federation affiliated Tripura Labour Divisional Employees Samiti led by Dipanjan Nag, Debabrata Chowdhury and Debashish Nandi, Rambabu Molsom, Ranjan Saha, Lokesh Debnath, Shibani Mukherjee and Member of Labour Department Office Monitoring Cell of Vivekananda Vichar Manch, Moti Kanika Chowdhury, Suman Pal and Anirban Bhowmik etc.
The memorandum include- immediate completion of ad-hoc promotion process in Labour department. Taking special measures to provide posting of employees working in remote areas for a long time in the offices located in their residential subdivisions. To fill all vacant posts in Labour department. NSK aims to provide more and better services to the working class people including creating necessary infrastructure for all district and sub-divisional offices in the Labor Department.
In addition, the delegation held a detailed discussion with the Joint Labor Commissioner in the context of the charter of demands and he acknowledged the reasonableness of the demands and assured to take necessary steps to implement the demands very soon.
