Opposition criticizes state’s “governance, law and order” as they have no issues: Pratima Bhowmik

Agartala Nov 26: MoS Pratima Bhowmik visited Khayerpur Mandal on Saturday as part of ‘One Night, One Mandal’ program.Ahead of the crucial 2023 assembly polls, ‘One Night, One Mandal’ program, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to find out if the common people are receiving all sort of facilities under various state and central government schemes and to see if they have any sorts of problems.

As part of this program, MoS Pratima Bhowmik is visiting various mandals, talking to common people and holding public gatherings.On Saturday, Bhowmik at first participated in a padayatra from Kashipur Bazar in Khayerpur mandal to Rastar Bazar in Khayerpur block.Thereafter she participated in a public meeting in Khayerpur market. About four thousand people gathered at the program on Saturday.

Addressing the gathering, MoS Pratima Bhowmik said, “Earlier people of the state had to return back empty handed from the ration shops. Ration dealers used to say, why didn’t they come earlier and the ration materials have run out. But now the ration dealers are calling the mothers and asking them to take their materials so that the materials of the next lot can be picked up”.

Bhowmik further said that the opposition mocks the good governance of the state, law and order because they do not have any other issues.“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the development of the state is progressing at a fast pace, the truly educated, qualified unemployed are getting jobs”, said Bhowmik.Later, at the end of the meeting, Pratima Bhowmik participated in an organizational meeting at Khayerpur Gitabitan Hall with all the elected members of Mandal Committee.

Ratan Chakraborty, MLA of Khayerpur assembly constituency also remained present.After the meeting, Pratima Bhowmik is scheduled to meet the Janajati citizens of Dasaram Bari area and will stay at the house of a Janajati worker. Sunday morning, Bhowmik will meet the workers of Mekhlipara tea garden.
