As part of a routine inspection across various shops in the market, officials discovered several bottles of expired beverages at a store named Radheshyam Bhandar. Preliminary findings revealed that the expired products were displayed for sale, prompting immediate action from the authorities.

Following the discovery, the shop was temporarily sealed, and legal proceedings were initiated under the Consumer Protection Act.

Speaking to reporters after the raid, D.C.M. Dibyendu Das stated, “During today’s routine inspection, expired soft drinks were recovered from Radheshyam Bhandar. We will not compromise on consumer health, and a detailed investigation is underway.”
