Farmer’s House Gutted in Massive Fire in Tripura village

Agartala, 13th February 2025:    A devastating fire broke out on Wednesday night in Manya Para under Lefunga block of West District of Tripura completely gutting the house of farmer Sachindra Debbarma. The inferno left the Debbarma family with nothing as all their belongings were reduced to ashes.

According to initial reports, the fire destroyed Rs 70,000 in cash that had been saved for the delivery of Sachindra Debbarma’s son’s wife. Additionally, household furniture worth over Rs 1 lakh was also consumed by the blaze.

Sachindra Debbarma stated that no one was present in the house when the fire erupted. As the incident occurred at night, the exact cause of the fire remains unknown. The affected family has been unable to provide any clues regarding how the fire may have started.

Upon receiving the news, the local administration visited the site to assess the damage. Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
