Farmers’ plight highlighted on All India Krishak Sabha’s 89th foundation day

Agartala, 11th April 2024:   In a solemn commemoration of the 89th Foundation Day of All India Krishak Sabha, Tripura State Committee vice-president, Motilal Sarkar, raised poignant concerns over the prolonged plight of farmers across the nation.

Addressing the gathering at the Melarmath office, state leader Sarkar underscored the distressing reality faced by farmers who continue to grapple with unfair prices for their produce. Sarkar emphasized the significance of this occasion for farming families nationwide, shedding light on the enduring challenges that persist in the agricultural sector.

Founded on April 11, 1936, amidst a fervent struggle for land rights, the All India Krishak Sabha holds a paramount historical importance in advocating for the welfare and rights of farmers.
