Agartala, 19th April 2025: A tragic road accident took place today on National Highway No. 8 near Tripura Gramin Bank, Charilam leaving a class 8 student Sayan Debnath and his father Shyamal Debnath, who is a police constable by profession critically injured.
The collision happened when a Max car suddenly braked causing the bike ridden by Shyamal Debnath to crash into the vehicle. Sayan suffered severe injuries, including multiple fractures and one leg critically hurt, while Shyamal’s hand was badly injured.
Local residents promptly alerted the Bishalgarh fire brigade, which rushed the injured to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment.
