Agartala, 28th May 2025: A felicitation program titled “Naba Swapno Uran” was organized at Khowai New Town Hall today to felicitate students who secured first division in secondary and higher secondary examinations across 19 schools in the sub-division. The event was organized by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha.
BJP state General Secretary Amit Rakshit inaugurated the program in presence of Yuva Morcha state President & MLA Sushanta Deb, Khowai Mandal President Anukul Das, District General Secretary Samir Das, Yuva Morcha Vice President Khokan Deb, Khowai Municipal Council Chairman Debasish Nath Sharma and Khowai District Yuva Morcha President Manik Debnath.
A total of 417 students were present at the event, where they were felicitated with certificates and trophies in recognition of their academic achievements. Addressing the gathering, Yuva Morcha State President & MLA Deb emphasized the importance of dedication and perseverance in education. He urged students to set ambitious goals and aspire to bring pride to the nation, citing the inspiring journey of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Deb also highlighted the need for respecting parents and pursuing education with a sense of responsibility toward family and society. He further highlighted India’s growing global stature, noting its recent advancements in economic rankings.
However, the event faced disruptions due to frequent power outages, causing inconvenience to the attendees. Despite this, the enthusiasm remained high as speakers encouraged students to strive for excellence and contribute to the country’s progress.
BJP State General Secretary Amit Rakshit echoed similar sentiments, applauding the students as future torchbearers of the nation. He stressed the significance of education and the opportunities provided by the Indian government to ensure access to schooling for all.
