Agartala: April 26. Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy today distributed five mobile vans to five cluster level federations and village organizations of Gomati district to deliver the services of Common Service Center in a function at Udaipur Town Hall today. The program was inaugurated by Finance Minister These mobile vans were given to 4 cluster level federations and 1 village organization of Korbook, Killa, Amarpur, Shilachari and Ompi blocks of Gomati district.
Inaugurating the program, the Finance Minister said that the government is working to provide government facilities to the people of the marginal areas of the state. “It is for this purpose that good governance programs have been implemented in every house in the state. ‘Amar Sarkar’ portal has already been launched in the state for quick resolution of public issues”, he said.
On the occasion, the finance minister said that people can now easily find out details about government projects through the internet on their mobile phones. On the occasion, Finance Minister also said that the government has taken various programs for the empowerment of women in the state. Women are being made self-reliant through self-help groups. MLA Rampada Jamatia, MLA Jitendra Majumdar, MLA Abhishek Debroy, Udaipur Municipal Council Chairperson Shital Chandra Majumdar and Gomati District Magistrate Govekar Mayur Ratilal spoke among others.
