Agartala, 24th February 2025: A fire broke out at the Punjab National Bank ATM counter near the Matabari VIP Gate in Udaipur this morning causing panic among passersby. The Udaipur Fire Department responded promptly, dispatching an engine to the scene.
Firefighters found flames inside the ATM counter and worked diligently to extinguish them. The fire was eventually brought under control.
Preliminary reports suggest that a short circuit may have caused the fire. A more detailed investigation is underway.
The extent of the damage will be assessed once Punjab National Bank employees are present. The incident has left the Matabari premises in a state of unease.
