Agartala, 4th March 2025 : A massive fire broke out at the Bishalgarh Town Girls’ High School ground yesterday afternoon. The cause is still unknown but locals believe someone set fire to a pile of garbage. A similar incident happened at the same spot a few days back.
The flames spread quickly and reached a nearby bamboo grove. A house close to the fire was at risk but people noticed the fire in time as a religious ceremony was going on there. The Bishalgarh Fire department personnel arrived immediately with a fire tender.
Firefighters worked hard and brought the blaze under control. Their efforts saved the nearby house from catching fire. Residents are now demanding an investigation to stop such incidents from happening again.
