Agartala, 11th November 2024: Border Security Force deployed in state have detained five Bangladeshi nationals from different parts of the state. BSF in a press statement said that on 11th November 02 Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended by BSF troops of BOP Harnakola under West Tripura district while they were trying to infiltrate by negotiating the border fence.
“Apprehended Bangladeshi nationals are residents of Brahmanbaria district of Bangladesh. In another joint operation based on specific input BSF troops apprehended 03 Bangladeshi nationals at Agartala. All apprehended Bangladeshi nationals are ladies in age group of 18-26 years. Preliminary Questioning is in progress. BSF is maintaining a high level of alertness on the international border to prevent infiltration”, it added.
