Agartala, June 14, 2023: The five-day ‘Khomata Bikash’ class organized by Ekal Abhiyan Tripura Division commenced on Wednesday evening at the conference hall of the General Degree College in Dharmanagar.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including Bhabatosh Das, Sabhadipati of Uttar Tripura Zilla Parishad, who inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp. Jagadish Nath, general secretary of Ekal Abhiyan North Eastern region, Shrimanta Pal, president of Ekal Abhiyan Tripura Division, Vivekananda Bhattacharya, Director of North District Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, and other dignitaries such as Subrata Pal and Dr. Uma Nama, members of Ekal Tripura Division, were present.
Participants from three regions of the state and various sanctuaries, including Acharyas and Abhiyans, have gathered to attend the intensive five-day class, which officially began on June 14 at 7 pm and will continue until June 19. The daily schedule includes diverse classes conducted by expert trainers from 6 am to 10 pm.
At the inaugural function, Shrimanta Pal, President of Ekal Abhiyan Tripura Division, delivered the welcome address. The distinguished guests delivered insightful speeches, emphasizing the importance of attentive learning from the expert gurus and applying the acquired knowledge effectively in their respective fields of social development. The unanimous support and applause from the attendees reflected the appreciation for such collective efforts to shape the society positively.
