Agartala, 3rd April 2025: As many as five IAS officers have been transferred and reshuffled in the state, with Muhammad Sajad P., IAS, appointed as the District Magistrate of South Tripura.
According to an official order, Muhammad Sajad P., IAS, who was serving as the Director of Skill Development, Agartala, with additional charges of Mission Director, Tripura Bamboo Mission; Director of Industries and Commerce; and Managing Director, TIDC Ltd., has been transferred and posted as the District Magistrate & Collector, South Tripura District, Belonia. He replaces Pradeep K., IAS, who was serving as the Additional District Magistrate & Collector, South Tripura District, with additional charge of District Magistrate & Collector, South Tripura District.
Meanwhile, Dr. Shailesh, IAS, who was the Municipal Commissioner of Agartala Municipal Corporation with additional charges of Mission Director, Agartala Smart City Ltd.; CEO, Agartala Smart City Limited; Director of Urban Development; Commissioner, TUDA; Mission Director, Swachha Bharat Mission (Grameen); CEO, Tripura Jal Board; and Additional Secretary, RD (Panchayats & MGNREGA), has been transferred and posted as the Director of Industries and Commerce, Tripura, Agartala. Additionally, he will also hold the charges of Director of Skill Development, Tripura; Mission Director, Tripura Bamboo Mission; and Managing Director, TIDC Ltd.
Dr. Vishal Kumar, IAS, who is currently serving as the District Magistrate & Collector, West Tripura District, Agartala, will also hold the additional charge of Municipal Commissioner, Agartala Municipal Corporation.
Furthermore, Vivek H. B., IAS, Commissioner of Taxes, will also take on additional responsibilities as the Director of Urban Development; Mission Director, Agartala Smart City Ltd.; CEO, Agartala Smart City Ltd.; Commissioner, TUDA; and CEO, Tripura Jal Board.
Additionally, Kuntal Das, IAS, who is serving as the Additional Secretary, Government of Tripura, RD Department, with additional charge of Director (Projects), SLMC of the RD Department, will also hold the additional charge of Mission Director, Swachha Bharat Mission (Grameen).
