Agartala, June 7, 2023: Debasish Deb, a Class XII student of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Charilam Class XII School, has secured the third position in the state among the meritorious 10 students of the Higher Secondary School conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education.
Former Deputy Chief Minister of the state Jishnu Dev Varma, Charilam Mandal President Rajkumar Debnath, Charilam Block Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Rakhi Das Kar, Charilam Collective Development Officer Rupan Das, Additional BDO Amitabh Chakraborty and others came to the home of the meritorious student on Wednesday.
Among the ten meritocracies in the state, higher secondary ranks third. By getting number 484, he ranked third in the state. The former Deputy Chief Minister of the state Jishnu Dev Varma felicitated the meritorious student with a bouquet of flowers and traditional ‘Risha’.
On behalf of the Charilam block administration, the BDO along with the chairperson gave a pen and paper to the Debasish for excelling in the field of education for next one year.
The former deputy chief minister assured the meritorious student of cooperation in the future. Charilam block panchayat samiti chairperson Rakhi Das Kar told the media.
