Four illegal Bangladeshi held at Agartala Railway Station

Agartala, 27th April 2025:  In a joint operation conducted by Agartala Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF), and the Intelligence Department, four Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended yesterdayate night at the Agartala Railway Station for illegally entering and while en route to Chennai.According to Tapas Das, Officer-in-Charge of Agartala GRP, the four individuals had entered India from Bangladesh without proper documentation and had arrived at the railway station with the intention of traveling further by train. During preliminary interrogation, the accused confessed that they were planning to head towards Bengalore and Chennai.

The arrested individuals have been identified as: 

Zahirul Islam alias Zahir (42), Dhaka , Dilwar Hossain (44) of Shariatpur, Jamirul Islam (27) of Panchagarh and Mohammad Zia (35), Jamalpur  of Bangladesh.A case has been registered at the Agartala GRP Police Station in connection with the incident.
