Agartala, 6th April 2026: Four people were injured in a tragic road accident this morning near the TSR camp at Chakmaghat along the national highway under Teliamura police station.
Local sources informed that two motorcycles traveling in opposite directions one from Teliamura towards Chakmaghat and the other from Chakmaghat towards Teliamura collided head-on. The impact threw the riders off their bikes, leaving them seriously injured.
Personnel from the Teliamura Fire Service rushed to the spot immediately after receiving information about the accident. They rescued the injured and quickly transported them to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital, where they received initial treatment.
Hospital authorities confirmed that one of the victims, whose condition was critical, was referred to GB Hospital in Agartala for advanced medical care. The remaining injured are undergoing treatment at Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital.
