Agartala, 24th September 2025: In a bid to acknowledge the tireless efforts of newspaper hawkers and ease their financial burdens, the Gourangachandra-Shefali Das Social Organization distributed monetary aid to hawkers at a dedicated event held in Agartala.
The program witnessed the presence of Syandan Patrika editor Subal Kumar Dey, alongside Pranab Sarkar, Sanjay Pal, and other notable attendees who lent their support to the initiative.
Organizers emphasized that the aid was a gesture of solidarity with hawkers who continue to serve the community despite mounting economic pressures. The initiative aimed to offer both recognition and relief to those who play a vital role in daily news distribution.
