Agartala: December 02. In a bid to destroy and to prevent the narcotics in coming days, the state government has constituted a dedicated Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF).
In a press release, Tripura Police said that government of Tripura has constituted a dedicated Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) on November 23 this yearto facilitate effective co-ordination amongst the various drug law enforcement agencies. “This State level body would enforce the law against drug trafficking, prevent drug abuse, rehabilitate the drug victims and also co-ordinate with the other Government departments and District Police to achieve these objectives”.
