Agartala, 22nd June 2026: Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited Udaipur today, where he inspected several educational and welfare institutions, including Tepania Higher Secondary School, Khilpara Balak Shishu Niketan, and the Alor Dishari Children’s Home at Shalgara Amtali Ramakrishna Adarsha Yug Sadhan Ashram.
At Tepania Higher Secondary School, the Governor was warmly received by students and teachers. He toured classrooms, interacted with students, and listened to the concerns raised by the school authorities. His presence brought visible joy to the students and staff.
Later, at the Alor Dishari Children’s Home, young residents greeted him with flowers and cultural performances of song and dance. Deeply moved, the Governor announced a grant of Rs 50,000 for purchasing musical instruments for the children.
The Governor also visited Khilpara Balak Shishu Niketan, where he inspected the facilities and engaged with the children to understand their needs. Officials from the Social Welfare and Social Education Department joined in welcoming him.
District Magistrate of Gomati, Rinku Lathar, Acting Superintendent of Police Rishav, Education Department Director Asim Saha, and other senior officials accompanied the Governor during the tour. He emphasized the importance of education in shaping the future of the state and the nation, urging all stakeholders to ensure that children are nurtured into responsible and enlightened citizens.
The administration played a notable role in coordinating the Governor’s itinerary, ensuring smooth arrangements throughout the visit.
