Governor returns to Agartala after successful two-day visit to Dharmanagar

Agartala, 25th July 2026:    Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu concluded a successful two-day official visit to Dharmanagar in North Tripura and returned to Agartala this evening.

On the second day of his tour, the Governor inspected a series of administrative, educational, agricultural, and developmental institutions across Dharmanagar and nearby areas.

At 10:00 AM, he visited the Jail Café and interacted with officials. Shortly after, at 10:30 AM, he arrived at Uptakhali SB School to review infrastructure, the learning environment, and the implementation of government schemes. By 11:30 AM, he inspected the Sripur Rice Mill, assessing paddy procurement, storage, and rice production systems. At noon, he toured the Oil Palm Plantation in Yubarajnagar, highlighting the potential of palm cultivation to enhance farmers’ income and issuing directives to the concerned department.

The Governor was accompanied by senior officials including North Tripura SP Abhinash Rai, District Magistrate Chandni Chandran, Dharmanagar MLA Jahar Chakraborty, Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Aparna Nath, OSD Venkat Prasad, ADC representatives, and medical officers. Strict Z+ security arrangements were in place throughout the visit.

On the first day, July 24, Governor Nallu attended the Ulto Rath Yatra festival and the prize distribution ceremony at Kalibari as chief guest. He stayed overnight at the Dharmanagar Circuit House. After completing today’s engagements, he departed for Agartala by train at 4:00 PM.
