Agartala: December 15 : Education department has given posting to newly promoted 1, 689 teachers under elementary education as Headmaster/ Headmistress (Primary) on ad-hoc basis. On a memo, B. Bhattacharya, Director, Elementary Education said total 1,689 UGTS/ ATS/ KBTs were promoted to the post of Headmaster/ Headmistress (Primary) on ad-hoc basis.
“Subsequently 1,362 joined as HM (Primary) on ad-hoc basis in the office of the concerned District Education Officers within the stipulated period. Pertinent to mention here that by the said memo, in view of the school based examination and ongoing recruitment process, it was directed that concerned teachers would continue in their respective schools until further order. Now, in continuation of the referred Memo dated 22 September, 1,312 in-positioned newly promoted Headmaster/ Headmistress (Primary) on ad-hoc basis are hereby posted in the Schools”, the memo said. All the concerned HM (Primary) were requested to report to the DEOS by December 23.
