Agartala, 24th April 2025: In a bid to fast-track socio-economic development for the Scheduled Caste (SC) community, the Tripura Department for Welfare of Scheduled Castes has launched a 100-day mission to expedite the rollout of key welfare schemes.
Minister for Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Sudhangshu Das, unveiled the initiative after a high-level review meeting held in Agartala on Wednesday.
“The meeting aimed to assess our performance for the 2024–25 fiscal year and chalk out a strategy for effective execution of the 2025–26 budget and planned welfare programmes,” Das stated.
He noted that the department had taken a critical look at both achievements and gaps from the past year, and is determined to build on lessons learned.
“We’re moving in mission mode for the next 100 days to implement a series of crucial schemes. The objective is clear — to ensure holistic development and a better quality of life for the SC community through focused and timely actions,” he added.
