Agartala: December 28. Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath today said that after the BJP government formed it has started working to build a beautiful and secure future by educating the students of the tribal sections in quality education.
Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath said this while inaugurating the newly constructed 50-beded Janajati Girls’ Residential Building and 7 additional classrooms at Shamsingh Higher Secondary School in Sabroom subdivision today.
It should be noted that under the BADP scheme, an expenditure of Rs 2 crore 10 lakh has been spent on the construction of hostels and Rs 1 crore 8 lakh for the construction of additional classrooms.
“The present government is working to build a beautiful and secure future by educating the students of the tribal sections in quality education. That is why residential buildings are being constructed for the children of Janajati in every subdivision of the state”, said EM Nath.
The Education Minister also informed that the state government is making efforts to modernize the reading structure for the overall development of the students.
Also on this day he inaugurated 3 additional classrooms built under BADP scheme and a library built under the entire education campaign at Harina High Girls School.
Rs 40 lakhs was spent on classroom construction and Rs 20 lakhs on library construction. MLA Shankar Roy, Santchand Panchayat Samiti Chairman Anil Chandra Majumdar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Bidhan Chandra Roy and other officials were present on the occasion.
