Govt sanctions Rs 10 crore for Dumbur Lake: Deputy CM

Agartala: December 23. State government has sanctioned Rs 10 crore for Dumbur Lake to make it one of the best Tourist Attractions in NE region, said Finance Minister Jishnu Dev Varma.

Dev Varma who is also Deputy Chief Minister has inaugurated the much awaited tower line from Ambassa to Gondatwisa.

“The line could not be completed for 14 years and the project was canceled by NEC but after this government came it was revived and completed in 4years 8 months. It will benefit more than 12667 people”, he said.He also inaugurated augmentation of two sub stations in Ambassa and Gondatwisa.

“Value of inaugurated power projects today Rs46.90 crores which will be benefitted 52328 consumers. Inaugurated RD Div, office in Gondatwisa. The largest expansion of RD Dept. In history of Tripura. Earlier RD Circle 04 Now 8. Earlier Rd Div 12 now 18. Earlier RD Sub Div 0 Now 23plus 19=42. Earlier total engineering post 373 Now 674. All this is to make Rural Development more speedy and accessible to the rural masses”, wrote DyCM on Facebook.
