Govt sealed illegal Dental clinic for operating without qualified personnel

Agartala, 15th September 2024:  The Chief Medical Officer Gomati District in Tripura has shutdown a dental clinic in Amarpur sub-division of the district after it was found to operation without any qualified person.

In an order undersigned by Dr. Kamal Reang, Chief Medical Officer said that a complaint was received against the Clinical Establishment name “T.H.D Dental Clinic & Lab” situated at Amarpur Sub-divisional Hospital Road for doing quackery dental clinic.

“…as per enquiry report submitted by committee from this office found that, the said clinic is running without any qualified person as mandated in “The Tripura Clinical Establishment (Registration & Regulation) Act 2018”, which may create serious health hazards to common public. Thus, in accordance with “The Tripura Clinical Establishment (Registration & Regulation) Act,2018”, the undersigned hereby order to close the said establishment with immediate effect”, the order reads.
