Agartala, 22nd March 2024 : In a solemn consecration of Sri Sri Ramlala, the city of Agartala witnessed a grand assembly of spiritual leaders and devotees at the Swami Vivekananda Maidan here on Friday. The event, organized by the Rashtriya Sanatani Seva Sangh, featured a Maha Dharamsabha and a Sahasra Kantha Gita chandting, drawing in a multitude of participants.
The revered Govardhan Math Puri Peethadeshwar Jagatguru Shankaracharya graced the occasion, alongside other esteemed figures such as Maharaja Swami Sri Adhakshajananda Devateertha, Jagatguru Mahamandaleshwar Swami Jatindrananda Giri Maharaj, and Padma Shri Chitta Maharaj, Principal of Shantikali Ashram. The custodian of the Jagannath Jew temple, trident Bhikshu Bhakti Kamal Vaishnava Maharaja, was also in attendance.
Distinguished guests included the Chief Patron and Convener of Rashtriya Sanatani Seva Sangh, Tripura Assembly Deputy Speaker Ram Prasad Pal, and a host of political dignitaries. Among them were Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha, Ministers Tinku Roy and Pranajit Singha Roy, Agartala Municipal Corporation’s Mayor Dipak Majumdar, and BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharya, who all participated as audience members in the Gita recital and the Dharam Sabha.
